A night patrol by a team from Basistha Police Station led to the arrest of two suspected veteran burglars in Balughat. Acting swiftly during routine patrolling, officers apprehended the duo and recovered a stolen water pump from their possession.
The arrested suspects were identified as Bapukan Ali (26), a resident of Kamalpur, and Rasidul Hoque (35) from Golokganj. Police said further investigations are underway to determine if the accused are linked to other thefts in the area.
