Barco Man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

Lamoris White faces trafficking, possession charges in Currituck

BARCO, N.C. — A 45-year-old man from Currituck County has been arrested after an investigation into illegal narcotics distribution led to the execution of a search warrant on Tuesday afternoon.

Lamoris Andrew White, of Barco, faces multiple drug-related charges, including:

Trafficking cocaine
Selling and delivering cocaine
Possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule III controlled substance
Possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule VI controlled substance
Maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances
The Currituck County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Criminal Investigation Units conducted the search warrant in the 100 block of Bens Bonanza, based on an ongoing investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics. During the search, authorities uncovered trafficking amounts of narcotics and various materials commonly used in drug distribution.

White has been taken into custody and is being held at the Currituck County Detention Center. Further details will be provided as the investigation continues.
