CLOVER, S.C. — Authorities dismantled a major drug operation run through a barbershop and convenience store on Kings Mountain Street in Clover, York County, earlier this month, seizing over 16 pounds of narcotics and arresting multiple suspects.
The sheriff held a press conference on September 23, announcing that at least 10 suspects, all allegedly part of an organized group, have been charged in connection with the operation. The investigation, spanning nearly eight months, began after community complaints about drug activity and violent crime, which escalated following a shooting at a children’s baseball game at Roosevelt Park.
Detectives utilized controlled drug purchases with undercover officers to build their case. The raid resulted in the seizure of:
Nearly 1 pound of fentanyl
Nearly 11 pounds of methamphetamine
1.3 pounds of cocaine
15 grams of crack cocaine
3.5 pounds of marijuana
12 dose units of oxycodone
12 dose units of Xanax and alprazolam
13 firearms, including a sawed-off shotgun
Suspects and Charges:
Aaron Floyd: Arrested with 11 pounds of meth. Alleged documented gang member and leader of Blood Gang Sets in Clover and surrounding areas.
Frederick Junior: Out on bond from Charlotte for attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
Houston Williams: Arrested with about half a pound of fentanyl. Faces mandatory minimum of 25-40 years if convicted.
Tamal Francis: Arrested in Charlotte with fentanyl, marijuana, and a gun; currently at large after release on bond.
Cornell Tucker: Allegedly lived in the shop and oversaw daily drug operations.
Dre’Quan Starr: Suspect in an armed robbery hours before the raid; facing cocaine trafficking charges.
Traquise Robbins, Jarius Brown, Maricue Middleton, Quantavius Kennedy: All facing narcotics and distribution charges.

Authorities continue to investigate the case, and additional charges may be forthcoming.
