BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Three men have been convicted of multiple felonies, including armed robbery and witness intimidation, following a 2023 robbery at a Bakersfield marijuana dispensary.

Miguel Arredondo, 34, Hector Reynaga, 25, and Martin Zendejas, 29, were found guilty by a Kern County jury on November 3, 2025.

The case detailed that on September 22, 2023, the trio entered the dispensary armed with firearms, demanding cash and marijuana products from employees. They also coerced a female employee to place a fake emergency call in an attempt to delay law enforcement, but Bakersfield police quickly responded to the scene.

Officers recovered four firearms hidden in the ceiling, including a stolen weapon belonging to a security guard. All victims were safely released, and the defendants were arrested at the scene. The jury confirmed special allegations that the defendants used firearms during the crimes.

Sentencing is scheduled for December 4, 2025. Arredondo faces a potential sentence of 25 years to life, while Reynaga and Zendejas each face up to 25 years in prison.
