Bahadur Gamad 2 Others Held in Bhopal–Dahod Train Robbery

GRP Meghnagar recovers phone and cash; one juvenile at large

The GRP Meghnagar unit has arrested three individuals involved in a robbery that occurred aboard the Bhopal–Dahod passenger train on June 26, recovering the stolen mobile phone and part of the looted cash.

According to SP Indore Santosh Kori, the incident took place around 9 PM when the train was halted at Billadi station. The complainant, traveling with his brother and friends from Ujjain to Dahod, was suddenly attacked by four unidentified assailants who boarded the train, assaulted them, and fled with:

A smartphone worth Rs 14,500

Rs2,400 in cash

Following the report, Meghnagar police launched an investigation and formed a special team that successfully tracked down and arrested three of the accused:

Bahadur Gamad (21)

Ramu Khadera (19)

Ashok Gamad
All are residents of Ratlam and have been booked under relevant sections of the law.

During the operation, police recovered the stolen phone and Rs1,650 in cash.

The fourth person involved in the robbery is a 14-year-old juvenile, whose identity has not been disclosed in accordance with legal protections. Authorities confirmed that efforts are underway to apprehend him as well.

This arrest marks another success in the crackdown on railway crimes, highlighting the effectiveness of regional railway police coordination.
