In a major drug bust on Monday, Azad Nagar police in Indore arrested three individuals, including Wasim alias Baba, who had a reward of Rs10,000 on his head for his capture. The police seized 100 grams of MD drugs from their possession.
The accused were caught attempting to flee on a scooter when the police intercepted them. Wasim, who had been evading arrest for his involvement in multiple criminal activities, was wanted in 21 cases, including narcotics-related offences. Both the Bhopal Crime Branch and Azad Nagar police had placed the reward on his capture.
Alongside Wasim, Mohammad Hussain and Rakesh were also arrested. Police are currently interrogating the trio to uncover more details about their drug trafficking network.
