In a successful operation, the Ayanavaram police arrested six individuals for possessing illegal narcotic substances across three different locations. Acting on a tip-off about ongoing drug peddling, the police apprehended three suspects near the bus stand. The arrested suspects were identified as V. Arun Lakmanan, 19, from Pudupet, G. Balaganesan, 20, and V. Ranjith, 27, from K.K Nagar.
The arrested individuals were found in possession of methamphetamine and other narcotic substances, which were seized during the raid. The police have launched further investigations into the case to track the network behind this drug trafficking operation.
