Continuing its drive to eliminate drug-related crimes, Awantipora police arrested Faizan Farooq Allie, a drug peddler, during a naka check at Charligund area. Under the supervision of SHO Awantipora Police Station Dy.SP (P) Shri Atif Zahoor, officers recovered 4.40 grams of a brown sugar-like substance from Faizan’s possession.
Faizan Farooq Allie, son of Farooq Ahmad Allie and resident of Kadlabal Noorpora, was immediately taken into custody. A case FIR No. 152/2025 has been registered under relevant sections at the Awantipora Police Station, and further investigations are underway.
Police emphasized that these consistent efforts are aimed at keeping the community safe and drug-free.
