Delhi police have arrested Avinash, also known as Vicky, a 33-year-old resident of Najafgarh, after identifying him through a traffic violation committed on a stolen scooter. The arrest came after a burglary at a Lokesh Park residence on September 13, where jewelry, an inverter battery, and cash were stolen.
Avinash, a graduate who reportedly turned to crime following drug addiction, was traced through traffic camera footage from September 11. The footage captured his traffic violation, which helped police recognize him by his distinctive physical features.
Following his arrest, police recovered numerous stolen items linked to Avinash and solved 11 burglary cases across Dwarka and neighboring areas.
