AVFRD Chief William Graham II Arrested in Embezzlement

Ashburn fire chief charged with misusing station funds

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. — The Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department (AVFRD) Chief, William Graham II, 66, has been arrested following an investigation into embezzlement of department funds, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) reported.

Detectives were alerted after Graham reported fraudulent charges totaling $2,000 on his AVFRD-issued credit card. Subsequent investigation led to his arrest.

Graham is charged with Embezzlement by a Public Officer and was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where he was released on an unsecured bond.
