ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A Pensacola man, 35-year-old Austin McCastler, has been federally indicted on charges including attempted murder of a federal agent and multiple drug offenses.
According to the indictment, agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration were conducting a search and seizure at McCastler’s home in Pensacola when he fired shots at one of the agents.
McCastler is scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in Pensacola. If convicted, he faces a potential life sentence.
