LIVINGSTON — Deputies with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office have arrested a fugitive couple wanted in St. Tammany Parish in connection with felony organized retail theft.
Authorities identified the suspects as Austin Levalley and Carli Marr, both residents of Livingston Parish. Investigators say the pair were wanted on active felony warrants and were taken into custody following a local investigation.
While probing the case, Livingston Parish burglary detectives reportedly uncovered additional merchandise believed to have been stolen from businesses across multiple parishes. Deputies recovered a wide range of items, including a firearm, business aprons, a bag filled with new Birkenstock sandals, drug paraphernalia, steroids, stolen Christmas ornaments, marine GPS units valued at more than $10,000, stolen purses, a rug, and ammunition.
Investigators also seized a ledger that allegedly contained handwritten notes listing items to steal and merchandise believed to have already been taken from stores throughout several parishes.
Levalley and Marr were booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on multiple charges, including illegal possession of stolen property and various drug-related offenses. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming.
