Austin James Ross Charged in $2,300 Workplace Theft

Bowling Green man accused of stealing computer, store items

Bowling Green, KY – A 20-year-old Bowling Green man is facing serious charges after allegedly stealing over $2,300 worth of merchandise from his employer.

Austin James Ross was arrested Wednesday and charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking over $1,000, after officers say he took a computer and several other items from the store where he worked.

According to investigators, Ross removed the computer from the stock area and hid it in his backpack. When arrested, he was also found with additional items belonging to the store.

Ross is currently being held at the Warren County Regional Jail, and the investigation is ongoing.
