Three individuals were arrested in Pearl, Mississippi following an investigation into a retail theft ring targeting local businesses, authorities said.
According to Pearl Police Department, officers responded on February 6, 2026, to a shoplifting incident at Ulta Beauty, Pearl, MS, where suspects had already fled with merchandise valued at approximately $3,150.
Police identified two of the suspects as Aureka Ducksworth and Keanna Gordon. Surveillance footage also helped investigators identify the suspects’ vehicle.
On March 8, 2026, officers received reports that the group was again targeting retail locations in Pearl. The suspects’ vehicle was located at the Outlets of Mississippi, where a search recovered approximately $6,500 in stolen merchandise.
The three suspects, Ducksworth, Keanna Gordon, and Sharnique Gordon, were arrested and charged with felony shoplifting, conspiracy, and a hold for a felony shoplifting warrant from another jurisdiction.
Pearl Police Chief Nick McClendon said investigators are coordinating with other jurisdictions to return the recovered merchandise and pursue prosecution.
