Traffic Stop Uncovers Meth, Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia

CALAMUS, WI – A routine traffic stop on Highway 151 led to the arrest of two individuals on felony drug charges, according to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.

Arrests & Charges
🔹 Audra Arnold (50) of Waupun and Manuel Gonzalez (44) of Texas were taken into custody on February 27, 2025.
🔹 The Dodge County Drug Task Force recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia from the vehicle.

✅ Manuel Gonzalez:

Possession with intent – Methamphetamine (3-10g)

Possession with intent – THC (≤200g)

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Held on $50,000 cash bond at Dodge County Jail

✅ Audra Arnold:

Possession with intent – Methamphetamine (3-10g) (Party to a Crime)

Possession with intent – THC (≤200g) (Party to a Crime)

Held on $5,000 cash bond at Dodge County Jail

How the Bust Happened
A Waupun Police Officer, also a member of the Dodge County Drug Task Force, alerted deputies about a suspicious vehicle returning from Texas.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop near Gunn Road in the Town of Calamus, uncovering the illegal substances.

Ongoing Investigation
Law enforcement continues to investigate the source and intended distribution of the drugs.

Sheriff Dale Schmidt commended the coordinated efforts of the task force, emphasizing their dedication to keeping Dodge County communities safe from dangerous narcotics.
