Attorney Shahrzad Sharabiyani Arrested and Detained in Rasht
Rasht, Iran — Shahrzad Sharabiyani, a licensed attorney living in Rasht, was arrested by security agents on Sunday, August 31, and subsequently transferred to Lakan Prison in the city.
According to HRANA News Agency, Sharabiyani faces charges of “propaganda against the regime.” Following her arrest, she was taken into custody without further details released regarding her case.
Sharabiyani is known locally as a practicing lawyer residing in Rasht.
