In a shocking display of cruelty, a man was caught on CCTV brutally killing five puppies by smashing them against a wall at Indus VB City Colony in Macha Bolarum, on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The incident took place on April 14 but only came to light recently when disturbing footage of the act went viral on social media.
The man, identified as Ashish, a resident of the same colony, was clearly seen in the video picking up the puppies one by one and violently hurling them against a wall, causing their instant death. When questioned by neighbors, Ashish allegedly admitted to the gruesome act, stating he disliked stray dogs.
Residents discovered the puppies’ bodies in the cellar and reviewed the CCTV footage, which confirmed the inhuman act. Outraged animal rights activists and citizens across the city have since demanded strict legal action under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and applicable sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Despite the public outcry, there has been no official confirmation of Ashish’s arrest at the time of reporting.
