Arshpreet Singh Arrested for Elderly Theft in West Liberty

Hamilton man faces multiple fraud and theft charges

WEST LIBERTY — A 27-year-old Hamilton man has been arrested in connection with the theft of an elderly woman last Wednesday evening in West Liberty.

Authorities say the incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. on November 5. The suspect, Arshpreet Singh, was taken into custody on Friday and booked into the Tri-County Jail.

Singh faces several charges, including Theft by Deception, Attempted Theft, Telecommunications Fraud, and Possessing Criminal Tools.

Court documents show Singh appeared for arraignment Monday morning, where his bond was set at $30,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thursday at 2:00 p.m.

Singh remains in custody at the Tri-County Jail. Authorities have not released additional details about the ongoing investigation.
