WIGAN, UK — An arrest warrant has been issued for David White, a 33-year-old man accused of defrauding and stealing from a vulnerable elderly woman in his care, after failing to appear at Wigan Magistrates’ Court on June 30.

White, of Portpool Lane in London, faces two serious charges:

Fraud by abuse of position, after allegedly using the bank card of a non-verbal, quadriplegic woman he was employed to care for, making unauthorised withdrawals and purchases totalling £8,663.01 between December 15, 2022, and March 8, 2023.

Theft, for allegedly stealing jewellery worth £100,000 from the same woman between July 25 and December 8, 2022.

The court hearing on June 30 was intended to prepare for White’s upcoming trial. However, after his non-attendance, the magistrates issued an arrest warrant.

Originally from Wigan and with known ties to Bury, White is believed to still be in the UK. Authorities are now actively seeking his whereabouts.

Anyone with information about David White’s location is urged to contact Greater Manchester Police immediately.
