DANVILLE, Ill. — Arnoldo Molina, a former Danville resident, has been sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to methamphetamine delivery and burglary. The sentencing occurred on Dec. 15, 2025, before Judge Mark S. Goodwin. Molina will also serve one year of mandatory supervised release after completing his prison term.
The sentence stems from two separate incidents. On April 24, 2025, the Vermilion County Sheriff’s Department discovered Molina at a burglary scene on West Lake Boulevard in Danville. Deputies found electronic items, a bolt cutter, and a chainsaw near the home’s front door, which the owner confirmed were not previously there. Molina had also asked about whether the house was for sale.
In a separate case on June 26, 2025, Molina was stopped by a Danville police officer and gave a false name. A search uncovered individually wrapped packages of methamphetamine on his person and in his bag. Molina admitted the substance was methamphetamine.
The cases highlight the ongoing efforts of local law enforcement to combat drug trafficking and property crime in the Danville area.
