Ariel Ayala Arrested for Drug Trafficking in Connection to Santa Rosa County Case

Girlfriend of Deceased Person of Interest Faces Multiple Felony Drug Charges

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. – A 23-year-old Florida woman, Ariel Ayala, has been arrested on multiple drug trafficking charges in connection to a Santa Rosa County narcotics investigation.

Arrest & Charges
Ayala was taken into custody by Okaloosa County deputies on March 8 under a warrant from Santa Rosa County. She was later booked into Santa Rosa County Jail on March 12, facing the following charges:

Trafficking MDMA

Trafficking cocaine

Trafficking methamphetamine

Trafficking LSD

Six counts of possession of a controlled substance (including marijuana, alprazolam, ketamine, THC, mushrooms, and 2C-B powder)

She remains in custody on a $215,000 bond, with her next court appearance scheduled for March 27.

Investigation Background
Authorities executed a search warrant on February 28 at a Greenwood Road residence linked to Johnny Mobley, 27, Ayala’s boyfriend and a person of interest in a March 6 suspicious death case involving 60-year-old Michael Davis.

Although Mobley was not present at the time, Ayala was found inside the home. Law enforcement suspected Mobley of using mail services to receive narcotics, leading to the discovery of a large quantity of illegal drugs during the raid.

Drugs Seized by Law Enforcement
Deputies confiscated the following substances from the residence:

243 LSD tabs (4.7 grams)

23 grams of MDMA

10 pounds of marijuana

128 grams of methamphetamine pills

45 grams of cocaine

Following the search, a warrant was issued for Ayala’s arrest, ultimately leading to her capture on March 8.

Johnny Mobley Found Dead in Louisiana
Mobley, who was wanted on drug trafficking charges, was found dead on March 16 in West Monroe, Louisiana. His cause of death has not been disclosed.

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate both the drug operation and Mobley’s connection to Michael Davis’ suspicious death.
