NASHVILLE, Tenn. — May 5, 2025 — Registered ex-convict Archie Powers, 56, has been arrested again following a string of criminal charges including home burglary, property theft, vehicle theft, and probation violations.
Nashville Violent Crimes detectives stopped Powers on Nolensville Pike at Rosedale Avenue just after 7 p.m. last week. He was driving a white Ford Econoline van reported stolen from a Gladstone Avenue business on April 6. Authorities determined the same van was used in a residential burglary on Hutton Drive on May 1.
Powers confessed to his role in the burglary, where $25,000 worth of property was stolen from the home.
With prior convictions for aggravated burglary and theft, Powers is no stranger to law enforcement. He is currently being held without bond as investigations continue.
