Delhi’s Tilak Marg Police arrested three men—Arbaz (22) from Sarai Kale Khan, Pankaj Mourya (22) of Jungpura, and Rahul Bagh (26) of Chirag Delhi—for stealing and illegally selling mobile phones. Authorities recovered six stolen phones, a dummy pistol, and a scooter linked to multiple thefts.
According to police, the trio sold stolen phones on e-commerce platforms using fake Aadhaar cards and forged invoices. The investigation began when a Blinkit delivery boy reported his phone stolen while delivering an order on Pandara Road. The accused tricked him by pretending to make an online payment before fleeing with the device.
An E-FIR was filed at Tilak Marg police station on June 13, 2025. A special police team led by SI Kamlesh Kumar and supported by HC Sanjeet Kumar, Constables Jhabbar Mal, and Ram Tyagi, under SHO Gurmail Singh and ACP Nageen Kaushik, cracked the case.
CCTV footage revealed the suspects escaping on a scooter. Using order details and internet logs, police traced one suspect to Sarai Kale Khan but found him missing. Following technical surveillance and informant tips, officers tracked down the trio to a rented house in Chhatarpur.
The arrests have helped solve three E-FIRs filed from Tilak Marg, Kalkaji, and Vasant Kunj South, along with one lost phone report from Sunlight Colony.
