In a swift breakthrough, the Agripada Police have arrested three individuals for stealing gold ornaments worth Rs1.4 lakh from a residence in the Vitthal Nivas building in Agripada, Mumbai.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Arbaaz Ali Mohsin Ali Malik (27), Nabeel Nasruddin Siddiqui (25), and Nitesh Hemraj Jain (46). According to officials, the burglary occurred during the early hours of June 28, between 12:30 am and 7:00 am, when the trio allegedly broke into a flat and fled with gold jewellery.
Following a complaint from the victim, the police registered an FIR and launched an investigation. CCTV footage from the vicinity, along with a tip-off from a confidential informant, helped track and apprehend the accused.
During interrogation, it emerged that the three men were involved in similar theft cases registered at other police stations across Mumbai. Authorities successfully recovered the stolen gold, and further investigations are underway to determine the scope of their criminal network.
