SHREVEPORT, La. — A Shreveport woman, AquaCollette Delaney, 46, surrendered to police on Wednesday after being accused of stealing $50,000 from her employer.

Earlier that morning, the Shreveport Police Department (SPD) had issued a public request for help in locating Delaney, who was wanted for felony theft. She later turned herself in the same day.

The theft reportedly occurred in March, while Delaney was working as a loan officer for a lending company affiliated with Aqua Mortgage Corporation.

In a separate case, police are still searching for Shantaria Pierce, who is accused of stealing over $300 worth of merchandise from a Walgreens on North Market Street earlier this month.

Authorities say Pierce has an extensive criminal history, including 15 prior theft arrests and 7 convictions. A warrant is currently active for her arrest.

Both cases remain under investigation.
