The suspected prime accused in the March 13, 2025 seizure of about 2 kg of ganja from the men’s hostel of the Government Polytechnic College, Kalamassery, has been arrested.
The arrested individual, Anuraj R. (21), is a third-year mechanical engineering student at the college and a native of Karunagapally, Kollam, according to a police press release issued on March 16.
Two former students of the college — Ashiq (20) and Shalik K.S. (21) — who allegedly supplied the ganja just before Holi celebrations, were arrested on Saturday. The police continue their investigation into the source and intent behind the distribution.
