JACKSON, Mich. — Antonio Green, the suspect in the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Mia Sims, has been arrested in Fresno, California, according to the Jackson Police Department.
Green was taken into custody on Tuesday at approximately 1:30 p.m. EST. He faces multiple charges, including second-degree murder, discharging a firearm in or at a building causing death, and felony firearm possession.
Jackson Police Chief Simpson expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts between the Michigan State Police Fugitive Team and local detectives in locating Green.
Authorities are currently working to extradite Green to Michigan, where he will face charges related to the tragic death of Mia Sims.
