Pine Hill, AL – A Pine Hill man has been arrested in connection to a 2022 murder, according to local authorities.
Anthony Dewayne Denish, 33, was taken into custody after police executed an arrest warrant on Friday for the fatal shooting of LaDarren Jones, 32.
Jones was discovered shot to death in November 2022 on the 200 block of Gwen Road. Following an extended investigation, law enforcement located Denish, where they also uncovered a large quantity of illegal drugs at the property.
Denish now faces a murder charge, and is being held on a $1 million bond as the case moves forward.
