MEDWAY, Mass. — Two men have been charged in connection with a child abuse investigation at a Medway daycare, authorities said.
Anthony Barron, 27, of Woonsocket, faces four counts of assault and battery on a child under 14 causing bodily injury, two counts of reckless endangerment of a child under 18, and two counts of failure to report child abuse as a mandated reporter.
Caleigh Kent, 25, of Whitinsville, was charged with two counts of assault and battery on a child under 14, one count of reckless endangerment of a child under 18, and two counts of failure to report child abuse as a mandated reporter.
The alleged abuse occurred on Nov. 5, 2025, at Bright Path Child Care Center, and police said surveillance footage reportedly showed harm to two children under the age of 2.
Both men were released on personal recognizance and given no-contact orders with the victims and their families. They are prohibited from working with children, elderly, or disabled individuals, including employment at any childcare facility, and must stay away from the daycare where the alleged abuse occurred.
