ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A 46-year-old Annapolis man, Robert Lee Deaton III, was arrested on July 8, 2025, after detectives from Anne Arundel County executed a search warrant at his residence on Lodge Pole Court. The search followed an investigation into suspected drug distribution that began in June.

Officers seized approximately 17 grams of suspected cocaine, 5 grams of crack cocaine, 790 grams of suspected anabolic steroids in 19 vials, 11 grams of an unknown white powder, a digital scale, and $39,850 in cash.

Deaton was taken into custody at the scene and charged with multiple drug-related offenses, including two felony counts of possession with intent to distribute, as well as misdemeanor drug possession and paraphernalia charges.

He was initially held on a $5,000 corporate bond, which was posted the same day. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 6 in Annapolis Circuit Court. The investigation is ongoing.
