A 23-year-old woman allegedly orchestrated the murder of her husband just three months after their wedding, police in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, reported on Thursday (February 5, 2026).
Authorities said the accused wife, Anjali (23), conspired with her long-time boyfriend, Sanjay (25), and two accomplices, Rohit (20) and Siddharth (20), to carry out the crime. All four were arrested on Tuesday (February 3, 2026), according to Sri Ganganagar Superintendent of Police Amrita Duhan.
The incident occurred on the night of January 30, when Ashish Kumar (27), a resident of 1 KLM village in the Rawla area, went for his daily walk with his wife after dinner. Police investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of the conspiracy and motive behind the murder.
