CLEVELAND COUNTY, OKLA. — Two women from Luther and three inmates are facing charges after an investigation uncovered a drug smuggling operation at the Cleveland County Detention Center.
The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office initiated a coordinated probe after detention staff discovered illegal substances during routine operations. As a result, 40-year-old Angela Rainbolt and 22-year-old Katlin Fulton were arrested on May 27.
Three inmates — Robert Reed (54), Tory Dunn (34), and Brian Moody (32) — were also implicated in the smuggling ring.
All five face charges related to the introduction of contraband into a penal institution and conspiracy. Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
Sheriff Chris Amason emphasized the seriousness of the threat to facility security and praised the detention staff and investigators for their vigilance. He reaffirmed the office’s commitment to maintaining a safe environment for both inmates and staff.
