MIDDLESBORO, Ky. — Police have arrested Angel Henderson of Corbin on charges related to drug trafficking and organized crime, according to the Middlesboro Police Department.

Henderson, a nurse practitioner, was served with a Bell County warrant. Authorities allege she used her prescription authority to unlawfully distribute controlled substances, contributing to an ongoing investigation into illegal drug activity.

She is charged with engaging in organized crime and trafficking in a controlled substance. Police have indicated that additional arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
