ANTHONY, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) – A 43-year-old man, Angel De La Torre, was arrested on Wednesday in connection to a violent assault and car theft that occurred in Anthony, Texas.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a domestic violence call on Tuesday. Upon arriving at the scene on the 7000 block of Second Street, authorities learned that De La Torre had assaulted two individuals and stolen a car from one of the victims.
De La Torre was apprehended later at the 9000 block of Doniphan Drive in Anthony and taken into custody. He has been charged with aggravated robbery and booked into the El Paso County Jail with a bond set at $100,000.
