LANCASTER, Pa. — A 66-year-old Lancaster man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred Saturday evening at Culliton Park.
Lancaster city police say Andres Gasso-Dacourt has been charged with aggravated assault after allegedly stabbing another man around 6:30 p.m. in the 200 block of South Water Street.
Responding officers found the victim with a stab wound to the right side of his torso. Emergency personnel provided medical care at the scene before transporting him to Lancaster General Hospital. Police have not yet released an update on his condition.
Investigators used footage from the Lancaster Safety Coalition to track Gasso-Dacourt from the park to the North Queen Street bus station, where he was taken into custody.
Gasso-Dacourt is currently being held at Lancaster County Prison on $75,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 12.
