Anandnagar Police Arrest Housekeeper Dhanraj Damor for Rs2.5 Lakh Theft

Police recover stolen cash and arrest accused in Anandnagar house theft

The Anandnagar Police have arrested 20-year-old Dhanraj Rama Arjanbhai Damor, a housekeeper, for stealing Rs2.5 lakh in cash from his employer’s residence. The theft occurred between 6 pm on March 29 and 3 pm on March 30 at the home of Nilesh Radhamohan Srinarayan Gupta in Ahmedabad.

The complainant, Gupta, who hails from Jaipur, Rajasthan, discovered the theft and immediately reported the matter to the police. Following the complaint, an investigation was launched under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The accused, originally from Hirapur, Rajasthan, was employed as a housekeeper at Gupta’s residence. After the theft, he absconded, and the police deployed multiple teams to trace him. The police received intelligence that Damor was seen walking near Prahladnagar Garden. Acting on this tip-off, the officers swiftly arrested him in Seemalwada, Dungarpur.

Upon his arrest, the police successfully recovered the stolen cash. The investigation is ongoing to determine the full circumstances of the crime.
