Kota police have arrested a man in connection with the theft of a gold chain from Yadadi Mathyadi village.
The accused, 26-year-old Anand, son of Subrahmanya Bhovi of Guddattu Ganapati Temple Road, Shiriya Village, Brahmavar, was apprehended after an investigation led by PSI Praveen Kumar R, PSI Sudha Prabhu, and the Kota police team.
The complaint was filed by 72-year-old Basava Poojari, who reported that his 18-gram gold chain, kept in a Godrej cupboard at his home, was stolen between 7 pm on September 26 and 9 am on September 27. The chain is valued at Rs 1,45,000.
Following the investigation, police recovered the stolen chain from Anand’s possession, and a case has been registered against him.
