Amy Cooper Arrested for Stealing Over $1,000 at Clifton Park Target

Woman faces felony and misdemeanor charges after multiple thefts at local store

SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. — Amy E. Cooper, 43, of Castleton, N.Y., was arrested on Wednesday in connection with multiple larcenies at the Clifton Park Target.

According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, they received an inactive larceny call at the store on January 4, at approximately 12:26 p.m. Cooper was identified as the suspect in two separate incidents where police say she stole over $1,000 worth of merchandise.

Cooper was charged with felony fourth-degree grand larceny and misdemeanor petit larceny. She was released on appearance tickets and is pending further legal proceedings.
