Police have arrested Amrit Pal Ali, a resident of Kotla Surajmall village, for allegedly stealing bags of wheat from a home in Nangal Ambian.
The complaint was lodged by Manjit Kaur, who informed police that on August 7, the accused barged into her house and decamped with wheat bags.
Following her complaint, Shahkot police identified and arrested the suspect. Further investigation is underway.
