Bilga police have registered a case against a couple on charges of culpable homicide and assault. The accused, Amrik Chand, alias Mika, of Pati Neelowal, and his wife Kamla allegedly attacked Surindar Kaur with interlock tiles on September 22, seriously injuring her. The complaint was filed by Manisha, a resident of the same locality. The police have taken the accused into custody and investigations are ongoing.
