A man from Rome, New York was arrested following a domestic dispute in the Town of Lee, Oneida County, NY, authorities reported.
According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded on March 10 to a report of a physical domestic incident that occurred the previous day.
Police said Ameen Alomari, 23, allegedly broke a window of the victim’s vehicle, unlocked the door, placed his hands on her neck, and forcefully removed her from the vehicle before leaving the scene.
Alomari was arrested and charged with robbery and grand larceny, both felonies. He also faces charges of criminal obstruction of breathing, criminal mischief, menacing, and harassment.
He was processed and held pending arraignment in court.
