Police have apprehended a 30-year-old inter-state burglar, Amarjith Sharma, for allegedly committing two house break-in thefts in different areas of the city.
According to authorities, Sharma, a native of Haryana, allegedly broke into residences in Wilson Garden and Ashok Nagar, stealing various valuables.
The police are investigating further to recover the stolen property and determine whether Sharma was involved in additional burglary cases elsewhere in the city.
Officials praised the police team for quick action that led to the arrest, highlighting ongoing efforts to curb house thefts in urban areas.
