Amari Claudio Arrested After Stabbing in Cincinnati

Pregnant woman accused of stabbing boyfriend, endangerment

CINCINNATI, OH — A domestic dispute between two Chicago tourists turned violent Saturday afternoon in Sycamore Township, resulting in a stabbing and an arrest.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of a domestic altercation at 8000 block of Montgomery Road at around 3:20 p.m. on July 19, 2025.

Investigators say Amari Claudio, 21, stabbed her boyfriend during an argument. Claudio, who is reportedly pregnant, allegedly tried to run the man over with her car multiple times before jumping out of the still-moving vehicle and chasing him through a parking lot. She then stabbed him in the chest.

A juvenile passenger in the car jumped out while the vehicle was still in motion and suffered minor injuries. The child was taken to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital as a precaution.

The victim was treated at Bethesda North Hospital and later released.

Deputies rendered first aid to Claudio at the scene before arresting her. She was transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center, where she faces charges of:

Felonious Assault

Domestic Violence

Child Endangerment

The incident remains under investigation.
