Amanda Cantwell Arrested for Shirt Theft at Meijer in Warsaw

41-year-old faces felony theft charge with prior conviction

WARSAW — Amanda Lynn Cantwell, 41, of 491 Clinic Court, Warsaw, was arrested for allegedly stealing shirts from Meijer. Cantwell faces charges of theft, a class A misdemeanor, and theft with a prior conviction, a level 6 felony.

On June 9, a Warsaw Police officer received a theft report from a Meijer loss prevention employee. Court documents state that Cantwell stole three shirts from the store on June 8. Additionally, the employee noted Cantwell had been in the store on June 28 and July 2.

Law enforcement identified Cantwell using vehicle information connected to the incidents. During questioning, she admitted to stealing the shirts.

Cantwell was previously convicted of theft in Noble County in July 2024. She has already been arrested and released on bond.
