NATCHEZ — Amanda Breland, 40, of Natchez, has been arrested in connection with the theft and recovery of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) from property on Scheffel Road, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

Breland faces charges of grand larceny, trespassing and malicious mischief following an investigation into the stolen vehicle.

Deputies located Breland on February 17 at approximately 4 p.m. walking along Ogden Road in Adams County. She was taken into custody without incident and transported to the sheriff’s office for booking.

Investigators determined that the property where the ATV was stored had been unlawfully entered and that fencing was damaged to gain access and remove the vehicle.

Authorities said the case remains active, and additional arrests are possible as the investigation continues.
