A 39-year-old woman was arrested at a luxury Palm Beach hotel after allegedly offering “friends with benefits” services for $4,000. The incident occurred at the Brazilian Court Hotel on Palm Beach Island on April 17, 2025.
According to the Palm Beach Police Department (PBPD), the investigation began when officers learned that Alina Shimova had advertised her services for $3,000. On April 16, an undercover officer contacted her via text message, expressing interest in the offer. Shimova, in turn, adjusted the rate to $1,000, accompanied by a rose emoji, which is commonly associated with sex work.
The two continued texting, with Shimova stating that the minimum time for her services would be two hours. When the officer proposed a four-hour session, she quoted a price of $4,000 and again sent a rose emoji. Shimova also requested a deposit and asked the officer to confirm he was not law enforcement.
The undercover officer and Shimova then arranged to meet at the hotel bar on April 17, where she allegedly made a comment about being open to various sexual acts, further implicating her offer. At that point, the police intervened and arrested her.
Upon searching her bag, officers reportedly found five condoms, lubricant, and cash. Shimova now faces charges of offering prostitution.
This arrest highlights ongoing efforts by local authorities to address prostitution-related activities in Palm Beach.
