
Dutchess County, NY (WRGB) — A large-scale narcotics investigation has led to the arrest of Alfonso Perez, 29, a former Bronx resident now living in Wappinger. Authorities have labeled Perez a high-risk narcotics trafficker following a raid at his home on Dugan Lane on May 19, 2025.
The Dutchess County Drug Task Force, in coordination with the Sheriff’s Emergency Service Unit, executed a search warrant that yielded a significant quantity of illicit substances and weapon accessories.
Seized in the Raid:
Over 10 ounces of cocaine
Roughly 500 Xanax pills, packaged for street distribution
Packaging materials linked to cocaine and fentanyl sales
Multiple handgun magazines and hollow point ammunition
Perez was taken into custody without resistance and is facing the following charges:
First-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (Class A-1 felony)
Third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance (Class B felony)
He was arraigned in the Town of Wappinger Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail, pending further legal proceedings.
