CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Alexander Colcord, 21, was arrested early Sunday morning after police found him intoxicated and passed out in a running vehicle outside a West Avenue business.

Officers responded at approximately 6:44 a.m. on September 28 to check on a suspicious car parked in a store lot. They found Colcord slumped behind the wheel, displaying clear signs of intoxication. He was promptly arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Further investigation revealed that Colcord had stolen food items from the store shortly before police located him in the vehicle.

Colcord was released with appearance tickets for both DWI and petit larceny charges. He is scheduled to appear in Canandaigua City Court at a later date.
