RILEY COUNTY, Kan. – A third suspect has been arrested in connection with a violent robbery and battery that occurred on July 25, according to the Riley County Police Department (RCPD).
Alexander Anderson, 20, was taken into custody Wednesday evening in the 4400 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. He faces charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated battery, and interference with a law enforcement officer. His bond has been set at $100,000, and he remains in custody.
Anderson’s arrest follows the capture of two other suspects:
On Tuesday, 29-year-old Andre Chislum was arrested on similar charges.
Last week, 19-year-old Chase Meinholdt was arrested and faces multiple charges, including attempted first-degree murder, aggravated robbery, and aggravated battery. His bond was set at $305,000.
Police say the charges stem from a violent confrontation involving a 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man. The incident occurred on July 25, although specific details have not yet been released.
The RCPD continues to investigate the case and has not ruled out the possibility of additional arrests or charges.
