Albany, NY – Henassy McConico, 27, of Albany, has admitted to distributing fentanyl pills on multiple occasions in 2024, pleading guilty to several serious charges. McConico faces a sentence ranging from 10 years to life in prison after his plea in front of a judge.
According to the US Attorney’s Office, McConico pleaded guilty to:
Conspiring to possess with intent to distribute
Distribution of a controlled substance
Possession of a firearm by a prohibited person
Prosecutors say that on October 15, 2024, McConico distributed approximately 485 fentanyl pills to another individual. Furthermore, McConico admitted to possessing a loaded handgun along with assorted ammunition at his residence.
McConico’s sentencing is scheduled for July 23, 2025, where he faces a lengthy prison term based on the seriousness of his crimes.
